The Business Club of Francophones in Estonia (CAdFE) recently organized a tailor-made gathering at the Vaat Brewery, where our members delved into the world of craft beer. This private tour allowed us to explore the fascinating world behind the doors of the bar. Under the guidance of Markus, our passionate host, we discovered the essence of Vaat Brewery, a place where beer enthusiasts converge to witness the latest innovations in sustainability, We tasted a variety of intriguing beers and gained insight into the vision and technology driving this innovative high-quality microbrewing.
Our journey into the world of craft beer began with a tour of Vaat Brewery, where we were introduced to the intricacies of their brewing process. What sets Vaat apart is its commitment to innovation and sustainability, evident in every aspect of their operation. We were amazed by the cutting-edge technology employed to create the finest brews, and we even had the opportunity to taste malt grains, gaining a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship that goes into each beer.
Markus, our guide, shared his knowledge and passion for brewing, making the experience all the more enriching. It was evident that Vaat is not just a place to enjoy fresh beers; it's a hub for like-minded individuals who appreciate quality and innovation in brewing.
Celebrating Two Years of Excellence:
Despite having weathered the tumultuous challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent economic repercussions of the war in Ukraine, Vaat Brewery's commitment to quality and innovation remained unwavering. During these trying times, they faced multiple challenges— one of them was the production of their beer barrels.
Initially produced in a factory in Ukraine, the unforeseen circumstances surrounding the war forced the factory to relocate to Poland. This transition was not without its obstacles, as it led to an inevitable increase in the cost of beer barrels by 30%.
As we explored the brewery's offerings, we also had the privilege of celebrating Vaat Brewery's second birthday. This milestone serves as a testament to their dedication to producing exceptional beers and pushing the boundaries of what craft brewing can achieve.
